SYNOPSIS

Even Elstad, a faded rock star, returns to his hometown of Eidsvoll, facing a critical choice: reconcile with his family and teenage daughter Annie, or salvage the remnants of his career. Driven by her desire to maintain distance from her father, Annie conceals her remarkable musical talent until she befriends a newcomer in town. Set in the small town of Eidsvoll, ‘Stayer’ tells a story about our search for belonging, unspoken dreams, and the power of music.
